Second season for the Golden Eagles and it couldn’t have been more different than the first. A really bad start where failure to find the net resulted in negative results in matches that should have been a win. That was followed by a few injuries and loss of form that meant a stronger final stretch was still not enough to win the league.
Congratulations and well done to Gospel Oak that played some awesome football and although the Golden Eagles tried hard there was no overcoming them.
As is often said, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. This season taught Golden Eagles a lot about themselves and their football. Bring on next season!
